Wild forest reindeer safari

They live in boreal taiga forest and are migrating twice a year from/ to summer /winter pastures. The numbers are around 2200 individuals in all Finland separated in nowerdays  4 areas.

The safari will take you in to the spirit of the taiga forest. We will follow the trails of the reindeer on foot or by car or snowshoes/skies depending the season. We will be for short time trackers reading the signs on the nature that the reindeers have left behind, dropping, day sleeping places, path... and at the end with enough luck, we will get the supreme chance to observe and photography them.

Program

Information about the wild forest caribou and the safari. Departure by vehicle for the safari depending the season the safari will take place in morning or daytime.

Booking should be made in advance ( 7 days) . Contact us if you wish another dates or there is less that 7 days before departure.
